Quiet the Mind

Quiet the mind is the threshold where inner wisdom becomes audible. When the mind settles, you gain the keys to guidance, self-awareness, trust, and patience. In this space, the mind helps you experience life instead of carrying all the answers. Click to read guided practices — including humming, curious attention, and a heart-connection exercise — that help you quiet the mind and receive inner wisdom.

Quiet the Mind - It is the threshold that allows inner wisdom to be heard and recognized.

Giving you the keys to being guided, having self-awareness, trust, and Patience.

The mind is meant to help you experience, not to have all the answers and responsibility we put on it.

*Practice- to gain control over the mind*

1. Hum to fill your head with vibration- it is difficult for the mind to carry on a thought when it is filled with noise

2. Give your mind a purpose- instead of allowing the mind to wander, pay close attention to what you are doing with curiosity, sensing every aspect. EXAMPLE: how does what you’re doing feel? Hot, cold, soft or hard? What do you hear? High pitch or low pitch? What can you smell? Contemplate what you like about your experience to learn more about yourself.

Guided by inner wisdom:

Inner knowing is the only thing you can really trust and comes from having sensory awareness. Being alert of your senses awakens your inner compass:

*Practice- receiving guidance & inner wisdom

Speak aloud for your words to have power over your body & breathe the intention of your words into your body so the body can feel your words.

Say; “I can quiet my mind.”

Say; “I can be present with my heart’s energy.”

Place your hands on your heart and breathe deeply with focused intention to feel the energy within your heart.

(Do this 3 times to feel the energy of your heart.)

Use your imagination;

Imagine you are entering from behind your heart, step into the center.

Speak to your heart;

Say aloud or whisper: “Hello my heart, I see you. I believe in you.”

Observe: How does the energy of your heart feel?

The heart is not used to you communicating with it; be patient and always respond with gratitude.

Self-Awareness

Self-awareness requires observing oneself; reflect with interest on how you feel? How do different thoughts affect your emotions? How do your surroundings affect your energy? Notice how you are breathing; shallow or full? How does breathing differently affect your body?

Get to know yourself; by witnessing yourself without judgement and without expectations.

Trust

When you are interested in experiencing the moment without expectations, it allows you to gain wisdom, to have clarity and trust.

How can you trust in your decisions if you are not aware of what is happening?

Reflect for a moment on a flower — no one tells a flower how to bloom and grow.

When we are observing the moment, we are fully alert, using our senses and interest to learn from what is happening.

Patience

When we trust that being in the moment will reveal what we need to know, we can have patience. There’s no need to control-and with that, we feel relief. Relief is felt by those who love us. When we have patience with those we love, they feel seen and appreciated, and loved-without patience, love is absent.

Ability to Navigate

When we awaken our inner compass, it gives us the ability to navigate through worlds of distractions with focused intention and interest of how our inner world is affected we notice how our outer surroundings are also affected, we gain clarity and can make decisions in confidence because our decisions are supported by awareness and discernment. Discernment allows us to live and experience life feeling safe to explore our joyful essence.

Ability to Navigate- allows us to experience life without fear.

Fear limits our perceptions, and decisions cannot be made with clarity and confidence.

Presence - is essential for clarity. Yet distractions have become a normal way of living; pulling us farther away from who we truly are, and how we truly feel. Many of us distract from our purpose in fear of our ability to succeed.

When your senses are alert, your inner compass guides you with discernment.

The heart is capable of thinking, having memories and emotions completely separate from the brain.

PRACTICE: Accelerate awareness by being curious of emotional discomfort; join your heart to ask, what are you afraid of?

The mind and body will hold trauma that it remembers from past experiences, limiting your potential until there is interest in finding out what it is.

Sensory awareness and communicating with the heart activate your innate abilities

Emotional Intelligence

Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize, understand, and guide your emotions instead of being guided by them. On this page, you'll discover how to stay present when emotions pull you away, trust your actions even when unsettled, and use breath as your most powerful tool to reclaim control. Your inner state shapes your outer world—and you've always been the one in charge.

How is it possible to be in full awareness when you are being distracted by emotions?

Can you truly trust your actions?

How can you stay present and learn from the moment when you are fixated on an emotion?

Being swept up by an emotion is like being swept up by an undertow; the more you fight it, the more easily you are carried away.

To gain control, you must realize that you are the one who is controlling the situation; your inner state of being will affect the outcome.

* THROUGH BREATH YOUR POWER AWAKENS*

Breath is the language of the body

The way you breathe communicates to your body that it is safe or in danger.

Breath is your most powerful tool-

When breath is observed, it will alert you to emotional or physical discomfort.

Intentional breathing can release tension & bring your body into balance.

Deep & slow breathing makes your body aware you’re present and relaxes the CNS. (Central nervous system.)

Control your breath & you control your inner & outer reality

“The solar plexus is your Will Center”-It can limit your potential or expand it

PRACTICE:

Calm your whole body, by intentionally breathing from your Will Center.

Close your eyes, to limit distractions, place your hands on your solar plexus and breathe deeply to feel the energy within your solar plexus; imagine your solar plexus filling up with air as you breathe in and retracting when you breathe out.

Notice how you feel, and make it your intention to change it.

You are in control; you always have been.
